Sammy and Mary are best friends who are attached at the hip. When Ms. Sanders (their new choir teacher) arrives at their school, everything changes. A triangle of attention forms, and both Sammy and Mary are forced to confront their sexualities and identities as they reach the end of their senior year. In Judy Lawrence’s coming-of-age play, Pity The Woman Who Never Spills, two high school girls come of age as they teeter along the blurred line between platonic and romantic love.
