The Seagullman

Mila as Cordy
November, 2024
By Leo Kurland (World Premiere)
with Vertigo Productions, at Shanley Pavilion
 Directed by Emerson Steady

“Levit’s character, Cordy, was my favorite... Although she seems, at first, the cardboard cutout of a cynic, she changes over the course of the play: she’s charmed by Marina, and concerned about the Seagullman, and we learn there’s more to her story than was at first apparent. It’s Levit’s performance, though, that really elevates Cordy: she brings so much texture to the character– so much life and history– that she’s simply a pleasure to watch”
